Who are you?
You are an experienced Senior Cost Consultant with a minimum of 7 years post-graduate experience looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment
As a Senior Cost Consultant, you will be involved in:
• Prepare and lead construction cost estimates across education, healthcare, residential, corporate occupier, and commercial projects.
• Take ownership of cost planning activities, including developing and presenting final estimates/cost plans.
• Manage client and consultant interfaces across all project stages.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members.
• Lead value management and participate in value engineering, LEED analysis, and life‑cycle costing.
• Oversee cost analysis, cost checking, and valuation work.
• Conduct construction market research and analyze published data.
• Manage commissions, including project financials, fee tracking, and invoice preparation.
Other Key responsibilities at Senior Consultant level 
• Identify and support potential business development opportunities.
• Contribute to recruitment activities, including interviews.
• Participate in performance reviews for consultants and graduates.
• Ensure key project insights are captured and shared internally.
• 7 - 10 years’ experience delivering pre-construction and post contract construction cost services
• A recognized University Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
• Membership of Relevant Professional Organizations such as the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS); The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS); and/or Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE)
• Experience with estimating software (e.g., CostX) is an asset.
• Strong leadership, client management, and team‑mentoring abilities.
The base salary range for the Senior Cost Consultant full-time role is $90,000 - $115,000 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package.  Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
