Senior Cortex Software Tester (Card Management)

We are seeking an experienced Card Management and Cortex Software Tester to join our banking technology team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing, validating, and ensuring the quality of card management systems and Cortex software solutions within the banking domain. The role requires strong hands-on testing experience, deep understanding of card lifecycle management, and solid knowledge of banking processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing for Card Management Systems and Cortex applications.
• Validate end-to-end card lifecycle processes including issuance, activation, authorization, transaction processing, settlement, disputes, and closures.
• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
• Work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Perform testing for card types including Debit, Credit, Prepaid, and Virtual cards.
• Validate integrations with payment networks (Visa, MasterCard), switches, core banking systems, and third-party vendors.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security standards, and internal policies.
• Participate in UAT support and production validation activities.
• Prepare test reports, execution summaries, and quality metrics for management.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing within the banking domain.
• Strong experience in Card Management Systems and Cortex software.
• Solid understanding of card processing, transaction flows, and payment ecosystems.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing; automation experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced banking environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience working with Saudi banks or regional banking systems is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of ISO 8583 message standards.
• Experience with ATM, POS, and e-commerce transaction testing.
• Understanding of PCI-DSS compliance.
• Experience in UAT and production support.
