Role Overview:
We are a dynamic consulting company specializing in corporate and commercial legal services. Our work involves drafting corporate resolutions, maintaining accurate records, answering client inquiries, drafting agreements, legal opinions, and conducting legal research. We are seeking a motivated Senior Corporate Lawyer to join our team and provide expert legal advice and support to our corporate clients.
Key Functions:
Draft and review corporate resolutions, contracts, and agreements.
Provide clear and timely legal advice and opinions to clients.
Ensure compliance with corporate regulations and maintain records.
Handle corporate governance, including drafting policies and managing board meeting documents.
Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
Respond promptly and efficiently to client inquiries regarding corporate legal matters.
Assist in the negotiation and drafting of business contracts and agreements.
Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal solutions.
Ensure the company and its clients remain compliant with relevant legal frameworks.
Core Competencies and Required Background:
Equivalent legal degree.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience practicing corporate law, with a focus on corporate governance, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
Excellent knowledge of corporate law and procedures.
Extensive knowledge of Cyprus legal and regulatory framework.
Ability to conduct thorough legal research and provide well-reasoned legal opinions.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Experience with client management and working in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with legal technology tools and legal research databases.
Knowledge of other areas of law that intersect with corporate matters, such as intellectual property, employment law, or tax law.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
