Senior Corporate Lawyer

We are on the lookout for a (Senior) Legal Counsel to join the Glovo Legal Team 

You will be based in Barcelona, Spain, which is the regional HQ and mother company for all Glovo entities, overseeing corporate matters for our subsidiaries across various countries.

Working closely with the Group Corporate team at Delivery Hero, you will ensure corporate governance, handles day-to-day corporate matters, and leads global restructurings and corporate optimization initiatives for the Glovo entities.

You will; 

• Serve as the primary points of contact for corporate legal matters across the Glovo’s group subsidiaries worldwide.

• Lead and/or support capital increases-decreases, share transfers, restructurings, and other corporate lifecycle events.

• Act as an independent legal project manager for internal reorganizations

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve global legal (mainly corporate governance and corporate legal) processes, policies, and documentation standards.

• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, playbook development, and the design and delivery of corporate process and governance policy trainings to ensure group-wide awareness and compliance.

• Collaborate extensively with Delivery Hero Group’s Corporate, M&A and Capital Market team, Finance, Tax, Treasury, and local legal teams on corporate transactions and legal entity maintenance.

What you need to be successful: 

• Qualified lawyer with 6-8 years of post-qualification experience, ideally in a multinational in-house environment and/or top-tier law firm. Strong background in Corporate Law, M&A, or Corporate Finance.
• Track record of independently managing international corporate structures and/or cross-border legal projects.
• Understanding of financial statements, complex structures, including debt instruments, cash pooling, capital reserves, and upstreaming. Experience with debt, pledges, notarial/legalization processes, board management, and legal entity compliance.
• Strategic thinker with strong organizational and execution skills. Demonstrated ability to streamline processes and drive operational efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management at senior levels: ability to provide effective counselling to senior management, translate complex legal issues into commercially relevant insights, and propose solutions that balance legal rigor with business objectives.
• Fluency in English is required; Fluency in Spanish is a strong advantage.
