We’re looking for a talented Senior Copywriter to help us scale the Vanta brand voice.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is genuinely obsessed with all things storytelling, copywriting, and strategy—and for someone who writes a lot. You’ll help our voice show up everywhere: from campaigns to landing pages, emails, paid ads, campaigns, video scripts, and more. You’ll also work closely with designers, product marketers, and partners across the company to make sure that what we say—and how we say it—is sharp, clear, and sounds like Vanta.

Unshockingly, turning complex ideas into concise, human copy is a necessary skill. But what we’re really looking for is someone who can take those ideas a step further and turn them into a witty one-liner or a provocative-but-stragetic headline. This role reports to the Associate Creative Director of Copy and sits on the brand team.

What you’ll do as a Senior Copywriter at Vanta:

• Write across channels: campaigns, web, paid ads, email, video, and more

• Write clear, compelling, sometimes-witty copy in our brand voice and style

• Participate win (and sometimes lead) brainstorms

• Shape direction when it’s unclear

• Work directly with cross-functional partners

• Help scale and safeguard the Vanta voice as we grow

• Proofread and QA your work (and others’)

• Look for every opportunity to make the work—and the process—better

• Balance creative ideas with business goals and best practices

• Write! A lot!

How to be successful in this role:

• 8+ years of copywriting experience, with required experience in tech (B2B SaaS strongly preferred)

• Comfortable working on complex products and in very fast-moving environments

• Highly proactive—you don’t wait to be told what to do

• Strategic thinker who asks smart questions, proposes strong points of view, and pushes back when needed

• Strong sense of ownership—you manage your work, your timelines, and your stakeholders

• Positive, resilient, and calm under pressure

• Energized by great writing and storytelling

• Comfortable using AI as a creative partner (not a replacement) and able to articulate when and how it improves the work

• Ships, thinks, and raises the bar without ego

• Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.
