Maker Lab’s cross-functional teams of multidisciplinary specialists are embedded into client teams across digital marketing competencies — from measurement & analytics to content production.
Role Summary:
Senior Copywriter (Singapore). Lead creative strategy and storytelling for a high-impact team. You’ll translate complex tech into human-centric campaigns across social, web, and video. Requires 10+ years’ experience, deep local market fluency, and the ability to pitch to executive leadership.
Role:
• Lead creative ideation and copy development across the total brand ecosystem, including integrated campaigns, social platforms, web, video scripts, and live experiences.
• Engineer high-impact headlines and structured long-form narratives that bridge the gap between technical innovation and human emotion.
• Actively contribute to brand evolution and creative strategy sessions, ensuring all outputs align with core commercial objectives.
• Pitch and present complex conceptual frameworks and copy rationales with clarity and conviction to senior stakeholders.
• Integrate organic search best practices into all creative writing to enhance discoverability and digital performance.
• Leverage performance data and audience research to refine creative strategies and continuously improve campaign resonance.
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams—spanning Design, Digital Strategy, and Events—to maintain a unified brand voice across every touchpoint.
• Provide conceptual direction and scripts for corporate activations and immersive experiential marketing projects.
You:
• 10+ years of professional copywriting experience supporting global brands (B2B or B2C) or high-level agency/freelance environments.
• At least 4 years of leadership experience in conceptualising large-scale projects and presenting to executive-level audiences.
• Deep cultural fluency in the Singapore market, with an intuitive understanding of local nuances, trends, and communication styles that drive engagement.
• A "big picture" thinker capable of scaling a single creative seed into a full-funnel execution across diverse media.
• Exceptional ability to demystify complex offerings, making them accessible to both C-suite decision-makers and technical specialists alike.
• Experience in production environments, such as providing copy direction for audio/video shoots or broadcast media.
• A forward-thinking approach to creative tools, including familiarity with AI-assisted storytelling and collaborative platforms like Figma or Asana.
• Self-motivated and highly organised, with the discipline to deliver premium work under demanding timelines.
• A lifelong learner who remains at the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Proven ability to work harmoniously within a matrixed, international team environment.
Contract type: 6 months fixed-term contract
