The Role:
As a Senior Copywriter, you are a crucial engine behind our most impactful health communication campaigns. You’ll be a strategic conceptual thinker, working with a Senior Art Director, to define the creative vision for groundbreaking projects. This isn't just about writing; it's about imagining, collaborating, and bringing big ideas to life. You’ll transform intricate scientific information into clear, compliant, and captivating narratives that resonate deeply with diverse audiences, continually raising the creative bar.
What You'll Do:
• Generate innovative concepts for integrated campaigns across all channels.
• Translate complex medical and scientific insights into engaging, persuasive, and compliant copy for healthcare professionals, patients, and consumers.
• Drive aesthetic excellence and brand consistency through exceptional writing, from headlines and body copy to scripts and digital content.
• Guide and develop junior creative talent, fostering their growth and inspiring them to push creative boundaries.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (account, strategy, medical affairs, regulatory) to ensure purposeful, effective, and compliant creative output.
• Contribute significantly to new business pitches, developing compelling strategic rationale and presentations.
• Continuously explore emerging storytelling techniques and best practices in health advertising to innovate our creative offering.
What You'll Bring:
• Significant experience as a copywriter within an agency setting, with a strong, demonstrable focus on health, pharma, or wellness brands.
• A portfolio showcasing exceptional conceptual thinking and a broad range of innovative, strategically sound, and compelling creative ideas across various channels (digital, print, film, integrated campaigns).
• Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and brand voice, with the ability to simplify complex medical information into clear, impactful copy.
• Deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, regulatory frameworks, and ethical guidelines governing health communications.
• Proven ability to generate original ideas and concepts, collaborating effectively with art directors and diverse client needs.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, confidently articulating your creative vision and strategic rationale to clients.
• A genuine and demonstrable passion for human health/healthcare, reflected in your work and approach to problem-solving.
