Job Description

Grow with us. Lead with us.

At Pioneer, you'll work directly with executive teams, solving complex problems and shaping strategies that reset what's possible. Sometimes the work is headline-worthy. Sometimes it's foundational. But every project earns trust - and earns us the right to take on more. You'll get the kind of access, challenge, and growth found at big firms - while helping build a company that's scaling fast and guided by what we value.

If you're looking for meaning, momentum, and a seat at the table, you're in the right place.

The Senior Consultant, Transformation Program Manager is a consultant responsible for driving day-to-day program execution, governance, and delivery discipline within large-scale technology transformation programs. This role leads the Program Management Office (PMO) function, ensuring alignment across workstreams, maintaining execution rigor, and enabling successful delivery across all phases of the program lifecycle.

This leader operates within complex, multi-workstream and multi-vendor environments, partnering closely with client PMO teams, functional leaders, and system integrators to ensure integrated planning, transparent reporting, and effective decision-making. The role is accountable for orchestrating the integrated master schedule, managing dependencies, and leading cutover planning and execution to support successful deployment and stabilization.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day PMO execution across large-scale business and technology transformation programs

• Establish and manage program execution frameworks, including planning cadence, reporting, and governance structures

• Develop and maintain the integrated master schedule, ensuring alignment across all workstreams and vendors

• Drive cross-functional dependency management and critical path execution to maintain program timelines

• Partner with client PMO and delivery teams to operate as a unified program function with shared visibility and accountability

• Lead program-level reporting, including status, risks, issues, and executive communications

• Manage program risks, issues, and escalation processes to ensure timely resolution and transparency

• Oversee planning and execution of key program milestones, including testing readiness, deployment planning, and hypercare support

• Support the coordination of system design and requirements development from as-is process mapping and storage, requirements development, and coordination of decision processes needed for a full transformation design

• Lead end-to-end cutover planning, including development of cutover strategy, runbooks, rehearsals, and command center execution

• Coordinate closely with system integrators and functional teams to ensure alignment between build progress, testing, and deployment readiness

• Support governance forums by preparing materials, facilitating discussions, and driving decision outcomes

• Enable consistency and discipline across workstreams while maintaining flexibility to adapt to evolving program needs

• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA transformation programs and phased / multi-wave deployment approaches

• Experience building and managing integrated master schedules, including dependency tracking and critical path management

• Experience supporting the design and requirements phases of implementation and coordinating with stakeholders and resources to collect present decision information for executive stakeholders

• Demonstrated experience leading cutover planning, rehearsal, and execution for large-scale system implementations

• Experience working within structured governance models, including alignment to executive steering and cross-functional decision forums

• Experience operating in multi-vendor environments, partnering effectively with system integrators and client-side teams

• Strong risk, issue, and dependency management capabilities in integration-heavy and fast-paced delivery environments
