ABOUT THE ROLE

You will help build the SAP consulting team in Lithuania and design and implement SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling solutions mainly for the manufacturing and automotive sector:

• You design and optimize Finance & Controlling management processes in demanding interface projects and transformations for major customers in the automotive and manufacturing industry ensuring efficient integration into the overall business process landscape.

• You are responsible for the planning, implementation and documentation of customer requirements and support our customers in finding solutions using SAP Best Practices and the Activate methodology methods.

• You develop functional concepts and development specifications, coordinate test activities and support the expansion of our best practice industry solutions and are responsible for conducting customer workshops and training courses.

• You will support our customers in greenfield, brownfield or hybrid migrations of their SAP ECC-based systems or landscapes to SAP S/4HANA.

• On a national and international level, you will be responsible for SAP S/4HANA projects for FI/ CO/PS and take on offers, presales tasks and process analyses during agile customer workshops.

• You will develop best-practice solutions, templates and integrate processes, systems and rollout projects.

• The creation and implementation of technical concepts with SAP S/4HANA as well as the development of innovative solutions in controlling, considering accounting regulations.

• In addition, you will lead and develop team members in their professional expertise.

You will be seamlessly embedded in the SAP DACH organization with 4 competence centers and their experienced and collaborative consultants. You will report to the team Lead for SAP Lithuania, which belongs functionally to the portfolio “SAP Transformation” and work in close alignment with the SAP consulting organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be actively involved in the preparation, conception, realization and Go Live of customer S/4HANA on Premise and Cloud implementation projects.

• Build and maintain relationships with key executives, business personnel, SME and a network of professional organizations or affiliations.

• Utilize and apply best practices on projects based on experience and in consultation with experts; appropriately tailored for the client and their culture.

• Define and estimate total effort for functional team within the area of expertise.

• Manage the deliverables of functional team to meet engagement objectives and budget.

• Demonstrate the ability to plan, run, and manage workshops/meetings with clients.

• Plan and personalize the customer journey while maintaining global scalability and consistency

• Ensure in time and quality delivery, revenue consumption and profitability management.

• Providing a creative source of ideas/solutions to address problems.

• Desire to learn continuously and to grow personal skills and professional expertise.

• Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and changes.

• Close cooperation with the SAP Consulting Teams of the region, developing new ideas as well as their distribution, independent search for new opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Completed degree in business administration, economics, or computer science or a comparable degree program with a professional focus on finance.

• Fluent English skills, German skills are beneficial.

• You are familiar with the SAP product portfolio and have successfully applied SAP Best Practice solutions and the Activate Methodology.

• 7+ years of experience in SAP ECC resp. S/4HANA, specializing in both FI and CO, delivering implementation and support services for various customers. 

• Very good knowledge of financial business or controlling processes.

• Strong understanding of financial processes: Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Closing processes.

• Strong knowledge and experience with SAP FI and SAP CO configuration, PS would be beneficial.

• Integration knowledge with SD, MM, PP, and PS.

• Experience or knowledge in the integration with the other modules.

• Must have experience in writing functional specifications (WRICEF).

• Ideally experienced in working in virtual teams and international environment. 

• Experience as team lead managing consultants into S/4Hana implementation projects.

• High customer orientation, service attitude and business acumen.

• Proven communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Strong writing, mentoring, decision making and meeting facilitation skills.

• Ability to coach/mentor younger colleagues into delivering quality projects and consulting services.
