That is why we are looking for you, a Senior Consultant who does not want to simply take part in projects, but who wants to actively contribute to how these changes are designed, managed and delivered in practice, directly with clients in a German-speaking environment.

What you will actually do? 

As a Senior Consultant, you will be part of teams supporting financial institutions in the DACH region with complex transformations of processes, systems and services — from initial analysis through to implementation support, with German as the primary working language. 

Your responsibilities will include in particular: 

• Managing and coordinating transformation programmes: You will contribute to the management of complex projects, including planning scope, budgets, risks and resources in a German-speaking environment. 

• Requirements and process analysis: You will lead workshops, gather and analyze business requirements and model processes (current and target state) using BPMN standards. 

• Collaboration between business and IT: Your role will be to connect the needs of business stakeholders with technical solutions and support their delivery in cooperation with IT teams. 

• Project governance and stakeholder communication: You will organize steering meetings, prepare management-level outputs and present project progress and results to management and other stakeholders. 

• Optimization of organizational operations: You will be involved in optimizing processes (e.g. ITSM areas such as Change, Incident and Problem) and identifying improvements across departments. 

• Work on corporate banking initiatives: You will support initiatives within corporate banking — from solution design to implementation support. 

• Project documentation and decision support: You will work with project documentation (RAID logs, budget tracking, decision materials), which form the backbone of high-quality project delivery.

This role is a good fit for you if: 

• You are fluent in German and English at C1 level, as projects are delivered in a German-speaking environment and within international teams, 
• You have at least 3 years of experience in banking, insurance or consulting (including technology consulting), and you have worked on project-based or transformation initiatives combining analysis, coordination and stakeholder communication, 
• You hold a university degree in Economics, Management or Finance, or a combined field linking Business with technology, Digital transformation, Payments or Financial services, 
• You have experience or a solid understanding of technology-enabled solutions in financial services, such as payment systems, digital banking solutions, system integrations, automation or data-driven financial processes (this is not a technical role — understanding the context and cooperating effectively with IT teams is key), 
• You have worked in a project environment, whether in PMO, project management, requirements engineering or delivery-oriented roles, and are comfortable operating in real project settings, 
• You are familiar with process-oriented thinking, understand BPMN and ITSM, and have worked with tools such as Microsoft 365, Jira or Confluence, 
• You can structure complex topics, lead discussions with stakeholders across business and IT, and think in a systemic way, 
• Certifications such as PRINCE2, IREB or CAPM are an advantage, but not a requirement.

Wage (gross): From 2 000 EUR/monthly (+ salary review, interesting company benefits, the salary is negotiable based on experience and proven seniority)
