The Role

We are looking for a strong Senior Consultant in Financial Services Transformation, who has at least 3 years of professional experience in IT integration projects within the financial services sector and is well-versed in complex banking architectures.

You will work on transformation and integration projects where interfaces, data flows, and end-to-end processes are the key drivers. In doing so, you will combine structured consulting expertise with hands-on delivery - from analysis and solution design through testing, cutover, and stabilization.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate on IT integration projects throughout the entire implementation process, taking responsibility for specific areas and deliverables.
• Interface focus: Analysis, design, and specification of complex integrations
• Understanding and leveraging banking architectures: Mapping interfaces within the target landscape (Core, Channels, DWH/Analytics, Reporting, IAM, Payments, etc.) and deriving practical implementation paths.
• Business-IT translation: Structuring requirements, consolidating workshop results, creating decision templates, and facilitating cross-functional coordination between business units and IT.
• Quality & Go-live: Supporting test strategy and execution (SIT/UAT), cutover planning, hypercare, and comprehensive documentation.
• Contributing to the further development of our products, methods, and assets.


Requirements:
• At least 3 years of experience in IT integration projects in the financial services sector (ideally banking)
• Proven experience working on complex IT interfaces within the context of multi-tier banking architectures (heterogeneous system landscapes, multiple source systems, high stability and compliance requirements).
• Solid knowledge of common integration concepts and artefacts: interface specifications, data mapping, non-functional requirements.
• Consulting skills: rigorous structuring, clear communication, workshop facilitation, ownership of deliverables.
• Very good German.
