As a Senior Consultant, you won’t be observing this change from the sidelines. You’ll be working directly with banks and insurance companies, helping them translate strategic intent into tangible, workable solutions.
This role is designed for professionals who already understand the financial services environment and want to take ownership of complex transformation topics, working closely with senior client stakeholders in German-speaking markets.

What kind of work can you expect?
You will be part of international project teams supporting banks, insurance companies, Fintechs and investment firms in Germany and the DACH region. Your work will typically sit at the intersection of business strategy, operations and technology-enabled change.
In practice, this means:
• Working with client teams to understand their operating models, processes and pain points, often shaped by regulatory, organisational or system-driven constraints
• Structuring ambiguous problems into clear analyzes, decision options and recommendations for management
• Supporting the design of target-state processes, operating models or transformation roadmaps, and guiding clients through implementation phases
• Acting as a key interface between business and IT, ensuring that strategic goals are translated into practical, deliverable solutions
• Preparing and leading client workshops, steering meetings and management presentations, primarily in German
• Taking responsibility for specific workstreams or deliverables, while coaching junior colleagues and contributing to overall project quality
This is not a PMO-only role and not a purely strategic desk job, it’s about making change happen in real client environments.
Who is this role ideal for?
• You are fluent in German (C1) and English (B2+), confident in professional, client-facing communication
• You have 3+ years of relevant professional experience, for example in consulting, technology consulting, digital transformation projects, banking, insurance or other regulated industries.
• You bring experience from project-based or delivery-oriented roles, such as Business Analyst, project governance, agile transformations, product or service coordination, or consulting management roles with strong stakeholder interaction.
• You hold a university degree in economics, business administration, finance, business informatics, business engineering or a comparable field.
• You have a solid interest in technology-enabled business transformation, including areas such as business and data analytics, automation (e.g. RPA), digital platforms, agile delivery or ITsupported processes.
• You are able to navigate complexity, ask the right questions and bring structure where there is uncertainty
• You are comfortable in challenging assumptions, facilitating discussions and advising clients at different seniority levels

Salary: From 2 000 EUR/gross/monthly (+ salary review, interesting company benefits, the salary is negotiable based on experience and proven seniority)
