Senior Consultant - Finance Transformation

Our Finance Transformation team are trusted advisors to CFOs and their Finance teams supporting them to meet the challenges of a complex and rapidly evolving business environment. We help them navigate change to deliver efficiency, insight and value to their businesses. Our diverse and multidisciplinary team brings together skill sets across Finance.

The role we specifically require is within the Finance Transformation service offering. Finance Transformation is a strategic assessment of an organisation’s finance operating model including systems, processes, people and operations, aimed at increasing efficiency and effectiveness, enhancing decision-making, and aligning financial functions with broader business objectives using digital technologies and other improvements.

Your Opportunity:

With continued growth and a strong pipeline, we are now seeking Senior Consultants to join our Finance Transformation team. In this role, you will support engagements across ERP and EPM solutions, focusing on activities such as planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, data analytics, and integrating AI into Finance processes.

You will collaborate with some of the country’s leading clients as well as the wider national KPMG team, working within a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented environment. As a Senior Consultant, you will contribute to impactful projects that enable Finance teams to enhance their operations, achieve strategic objectives, and adopt modern digital solutions.

This position is ideal for individuals with experience in either a Consulting environment or a Finance transformation capacity, who are seeking the opportunity to broaden their expertise across multiple clients and industries. This role will empower you to undertake challenging and rewarding work by utilising your leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Your Experience

• Exposure to finance functions, such as accounting, financial planning & analysis, shared services, or transformation initiatives (internships or junior-level experience welcomed).
• Awareness of ERP/EPM systems functionality (e.g. Oracle, Microsoft, SAP).
• Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, or strategic planning.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to assist in solving client challenges
• Ability to clearly articulate ideas, contribute to client deliverables, and support presentations.
• Proactive in developing expertise through hands-on experience and training.

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university and currently authorised to work in Australia without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
