Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Consultant to join our Energy Consulting practice. The ideal candidate will lead strategic initiatives for clients in the energy sector, focusing on digital transformation, operational excellence, and technology enablement. This role involves client engagement, solution design, and delivery oversight, with a strong emphasis on value creation and innovation. The role should be based in Spain.

Key Responsibilities

Lead client engagements in the energy sector, delivering consulting services across strategy, operations, and technology.

Analyze client challenges and develop actionable solutions leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Drive digital transformation initiatives including IT/OT convergence, asset management, and sustainability programs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions using platforms such as ServiceNow, SAP, and other enterprise systems.

Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.

Mentor junior consultants and contribute to practice development through thought leadership and knowledge sharing.

Support business development activities including proposal creation, client presentations, and opportunity identification.

Job Requirements

Strong understanding of the energy industry (utilities, oil & gas, renewables, etc.) and its operational challenges.

Proven experience in consulting, with a track record of delivering complex projects.

Exceptional skills in requirements gathering, business analysis, and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to work with diverse, cross-functional teams and manage executive-level client relationships.

Excellent project management skills, including proficiency in project planning, resource management, risk mitigation, and reporting.

Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to lead workshops, present to senior management, and manage stakeholder expectations.

Fluent in Spanish (spoken and written); Fluent in English (spoken and written with minimum B2 level) additional languages (e.g., Spanish) are a plus.

Nice to Have Skills

Experience with energy trading platforms and tools.

Knowledge of regulatory compliance tools, particularly those relevant to KYC, AML, and counterparty risk in energy trading.

Expertise in digital platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, SAP, Maximo, OSIsoft PI) and their application in industrial environments.

Familiarity with CMMS, APM, or EAM systems.

Knowledge of ESG and sustainability reporting frameworks.

Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or agile methodologies.

Experience working with international clients or in multicultural environments.

Agile product manager certifications

Agile Scrum master certifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in consulting or industry roles within the energy sector.

Demonstrated success in leading client engagements and delivering measurable outcomes.
