Senior Consultant - Data Science & Analytics

We are looking for a talented Data Scientist / Data Analytics expert to support our clients’ activities in Hong Kong. Your work may include (depending on project needs):

• Data analytics & strategic decision support (insights, measurement frameworks, experimentation, KPI design) 
• Machine learning, statistics & generative AI (from model design to deployment)
• Data engineering & DevOps (data preparation pipelines, reproducibility, industrialization)
• Data visualization and stakeholder-ready storytelling (dashboards, analytics apps)
• Data transformation & enablement (data literacy / acculturation, operating models, ways of working)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with our client’s leadership teams, engineers, program managers and data analysts to understand data needs.
• Identify, acquire, process and explore relevant data sources.
• Analyze large amounts of structured and unstructured information to discover trends and patterns.
• Use your data analytics and data science expertise to derive valuable insights from datasets, build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms.
• Communicate at scale, through multiple mediums: presentations, dashboards, datasets, bots and more.
• Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges.
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams.
• Manage a broad range of projects and deliverables, including models, algorithms, datasets, measurements, services, tools and process.
• Actively contribute to offer building, training, communities of practice, and R&D initiatives
• Support business development (needs definition, proposals, opportunity identification)

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst (ideally in consulting)
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant area of study (Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics or a related field of study) from a top university
• Excellent programming skills in Python and SQL, and solid data modelling foundations
• Hands-on experience ingesting and processing data, building models, and delivering outputs (shipping code, deploying models, publishing dashboards, etc.)
• Problem-solving aptitude and strong business acumen
• Ability to manage projects end-to-end and communicate clearly with stakeholders at different seniority levels 
• Fluency in English and Cantonese is a must. Additional proficiency in any other Asian languages would be advantageous
• Strong plus: Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Looker)
• Strong plus: Experience with Databricks (Jobs & Pipeline, Databricks Genie)
• Strong plus: Experience with GenAI tools and platforms
• Strong plus: Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, Ali, Tencent)
