ABOUT THE JOB

Anduril’s Design Team is seeking a Sr. Concept Designer to join our team. You will be executing visual concepts by leveraging 2D/3D modeling and engaging visuals to illustrate missions and complex narratives. The ideal candidate is not only an impeccable artist, but has outstanding knowledge of form and function. If you are passionate about bringing narratives to life and pushing visualization techniques, then this role is for you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Visual development of conceptual narratives

• Product renderings with photorealistic textures and lighting

• Mission scenes and diagrams in 2D/3D

• Contribute to development of visualization techniques and styles

• Collaborate with business, engineering, and product divisions

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 5 years professional experience as a concept artist, 3D generalist, entertainment designer, or equivalent

• A portfolio demonstrating modeling technique and execution, 2D/3D visualization, vehicle and aircraft design

• Deep understanding of dimensionality, composition, scale, and form

• Strong ability to execute visual concepts and iterate from technical descriptions

• Excellent application of material surfacing, and understanding of mechanical function and assembly

• In-depth knowledge in industry-standard 3D modeling and rendering software

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and business development

• A reliable self-starter, organized, efficient with attention to detail

• A team player who brings a unique sense of aesthetics and passion for bringing concepts to life

• Knowledge of general military application and authenticity is a plus

• Must work on-site in Costa Mesa, Ca

• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities

US Salary Range
$129,000—$171,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
