The Opportunity

Adobe is transforming the enterprise content supply chain with intelligent brand solutions that redefine how large organizations create, govern, and scale content. At the core of this transformation is Brand Brain, a first-of-its-kind AI system that captures an enterprise’s business context and brand identity, enabling teams to create and validate content that is consistently on-brand across tools, workflows, and channels.

We are looking for a Senior Developer to build of Brand Brain’s core services and infrastructure. This role is ideal for a senior full stack engineer who can design and build these key AI-powered content  workflows that will help organizations create on-brand assets at scale. You will work across backend, AI orchestration layers, creative tooling, agentic workflows etc. This role sits at the intersection of creativity, engineering craftsmanship, and applied AI.

You will help architect build technology that helps enterprises create on-brand content at scale by building  robust backend services, APIs and platforms that integrate Brand Brain into Adobe ecosystem and third-party enterprise apps.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver foundational systems that enable enterprises to build on-brand content at a global scale.

• Develop strong backend services, APIs, and integration layers that embed Brand Brain deeply within the Adobe ecosystem and third-party enterprise platforms.

• Drive engineering excellence across performance, reliability, observability, and secure-by-default building.

• Contribute to crafting long-term platform architecture in a fast-paced, highly visible product area.

What You’ll Do

• Define and evolve foundational architecture, including service boundaries, domain models, APIs, and internal platform capabilities supporting high-throughput, low-latency workloads.

• Build and implement scalable microservices and AI orchestration layers powering intelligent content workflows and agentic systems.

• Build strong APIs and connectors that connect Brand Brain with Adobe products and third-party enterprise software.

• Ensure platform compliance with strict SLAs for availability, scalability, latency, and data governance.

• Establish guidelines for observability, incident management, prioritization, and cost efficiency.

• Rapidly prototype and iterate on AI-powered features to validate new product experiences.

• Improve engineering quality through thoughtful code reviews, automated testing, and technical mentorship.

What You’ll Bring

• 8+ years of experience building high-quality backend systems and microservices with strong emphasis on scalability, resilience, and performance.

• Deep proficiency in backend development using Python or Java (both preferred).

• Strong experience designing, building, and operating RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs at scale.

• Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures, containers, CI/CD pipelines, and distributed systems.

• Strong foundation in system build, modern architecture patterns, and engineering guidelines.

• Demonstrated ability to take features from concept to production in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally across Product, Build, and AI/ML teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience in AdTech, MarTech, Content Management Systems (CMS), or enterprise SaaS platforms.

• Familiarity with large-scale data platforms, indexing, or search systems.

• Experience integrating platforms across complex product ecosystems.

• Exposure to Adobe or third-party creative ecosystems (e.g., Photoshop, Express, InDesign, Figma).

• Experience shipping AI-powered features or working with agentic workflows.
