ACX is looking for a Senior Compliance Officer to join our team in Armenia.

Join our team supporting Virtual Asset regulators with licensing, supervision, and compliance oversight across multiple jurisdictions.

This role requires experience in compliance roles and a strong understanding of risk frameworks, making it a great opportunity for professionals transitioning from traditional finance into the digital assets space.

Key Responsibilities

Review licensing applications and identify gaps or discrepancies against applicable regulatory standards

Prepare detailed review summaries to support communication with applicants

Assist in drafting requests for additional information and client correspondence

Conduct background checks, media screenings, and identify potential risks

Perform risk assessments and prepare reports to support licensing decisions

Monitor ongoing compliance through periodic reviews (monthly, quarterly, annual)

Conduct thematic reviews and update risk profiles as required

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in AML/CFT, regulatory compliance, or financial services

Experience in crypto or fintech is an advantage but not required

Familiarity with global standards (e.g., FATF) and KYC/AML tools (e.g., World-Check)

Bachelor’s degree in law, Finance, or a related field

Professional certifications (e.g., CAMS, ICA) are a plus

Strong analytical skills and sound judgment in risk assessment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
