Key responsibilities will include developing and implementing compliance frameworks, managing regulatory relationships, and ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.

Job Description

We’ve been helping businesses grow for 35 years. It’s a journey we know well. When Radius started in 1990, we ran a successful SME fuel business in North West England. Today we are a global business services company running in 19 countries across five continents.

Our mission is to help companies of all sizes adapt to market changes and take advantage of the opportunities they bring.

We are differentiated through our ability to provide fleet and connectivity related products and services in a one-stop shop solution to SMEs, as well as tailored solutions to enterprise level businesses.

Job Purpose

The Senior Compliance Manager will play a key leadership role within the Risk & Compliance function, supporting the Director of Risk & Compliance in overseeing the day-to-day operation of compliance across the business.

The role will provide senior compliance expertise across FCA regulation and a broader range of regulatory topics and jurisdictions, ensuring that the organisation understands and responds appropriately to its regulatory obligations.

A key focus of the role will be shaping and delivering the compliance programme for the business — including developing monitoring and assurance activity, translating regulatory developments into practical business guidance, and supporting senior management through clear and insightful compliance reporting.

This role offers the opportunity to help shape how compliance operates within a growing international organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance Framework

• Support the development and implementation of the company’s compliance framework, ensuring policies, controls, and processes remain appropriate to the scale and complexity of the business.
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the compliance function as the business continues to grow.

Regulatory Insight & Horizon Monitoring

• Monitor regulatory developments across FCA regulation relevant jurisdictions and sectors.
• Translate regulatory developments into practical advice for the business, helping senior leaders understand potential impacts and required actions.

Compliance Planning & Assurance

• Lead the development and delivery of the organisation’s compliance plan, ensuring activities are risk-based and aligned to key regulatory priorities.
• Design and oversee monitoring and assurance activity to provide confidence that compliance controls are operating effectively.

Advisory Support

• Provide pragmatic compliance advice to stakeholders across the business on regulatory requirements, new initiatives, and emerging risks.
• Support the review of customer communications and other materials where regulatory oversight is required.

Governance & Reporting

• Produce regular compliance reporting for senior management, providing clear insight into regulatory risks, compliance activity, and key developments.
• Maintain key compliance registers and support regulatory reporting where required.

Team Leadership

• Provide guidance and support to members of the Compliance team.
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex compliance matters.

What You Will Bring

• Strong experience in a compliance, risk, or regulatory role, with a solid understanding of FCA requirements.
• Exposure to other regulatory regimes or international compliance frameworks (desirable).
• Experience interpreting regulatory requirements and applying them within a commercial environment.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory developments into clear, practical advice.
• Experience supporting governance reporting and working with senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience within an FCA-regulated environment.
• Degree or equivalent experience in law, finance, risk, or a related field (desirable).

This role offers the opportunity to take on a senior position within a growing international organisation and to play a key role in shaping how compliance supports the business as it continues to expand.

You will work closely with senior leadership and gain exposure to a wide range of regulatory topics across multiple markets and industries.

Your impact on Radius will be rewarded with the opportunity to develop and progress your career in many directions.
