• Hands on requirements gathering, development and implementation of business intelligence (BI) systems in banking industry vertical
• Develop complete range of BI capabilities in the system like - reporting, analysis, score carding, dashboards and business event management
• Design and develop complex reports - Complex Drill-Through, Cascading Prompts, Summary Reports, Burst Reports
• Develop Dimensionally Modelled Relational (DMR) Models & Impromptu Query Definitions (IQD) in Framework Manager
• Proficient with PowerPlay Transformer model design and PowerPlay cube building
• Display aptitude in unearthing and understanding various business units, their analytical needs, and how to translate those needs to tangible BI solutions

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in data warehousing and business intelligence with emphasis on business requirements analysis, application design, and development, testing, implementation and maintenance of data warehouse and data mart systems
• 5 years of experience on Cognos Tools namely Cognos 10.2, Cognos 8.4 Suite (Framework Manager, Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Query Studio, and Cognos Connection)
• Experience with development of metadata modeling using Cognos Framework Manager
• Expertise with Cognos Administration and security
• Cognos 10, Cognos 8, Report Studio, Query Studio, Analysis Studio, Transformer, Powerplay
• Experience designing and delivering projects, packages, and reports using Framework Manager, Query Studio, Report Studio, Analysis Studio
• Experience in designing and developing Business Insight Dashboards
• Previous banking industry experience a plus
• Good oral and written communication skills
