Our ‘EMEA Security’ practice is looking for Senior Security Engineers in India. As part of a small, but fast-growing team, you will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to advise and guide customers on their cloud security journey.

You will be engaged with industry-leading enterprise customers to help improve their security posture and to remediate security issues present in their environments. Providing thought leadership and consultancy, you will be an expert security professional guiding our customers through their digital transformation journeys in a safe and secure way. This may be applicable to a customer’s single cloud, multi-cloud, or hybrid cloud environment.

You will also be relied upon to help us evolve existing services, as part of a winning team on a mission to deliver market leading security services to our customers.

Job Requirements:
• Provide expert engineering support on Cloudflare solutions.
• Help run design and deployment scenarios for the following offerings: WAF managed Ruleset and OWASP ruleset + optimization, Cloudflare Firewall + rate limit and application DDoS policies, Cloudflare page rules and transform rules + custom solutions, bot management solutions and threat scoring optimizations, Cloudflare SSL Certificate options and management, Cloudflare SSL for SaaS Cloudflare DNS Management, etc.
• Onboard and implement web security best practices on websites with Cloudflare core solutions
• Optimize, deliver and cache performance with Cloudflare Core solutions
• Thought leadership on securing of a wide variety of origin applications.
• Expert guidance on cloud security posture.
• Resolving unhealthy security tools and resolving security incidents.
• Supporting customers in general cloud security & compliance recommendations.
• Guiding customers on testing and troubleshooting of security tools as implemented.
• Supporting Rackspace in development of products and services where required.

Required Skills:
• Some hands-on experience with Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Proven experience in the implementation of CDN tools.
• Should have experience with deployment and operation with Cloud WAF and Bot Management Technologies and protecting Web Applications.
• Analyzing and developing WAF policies to optimize WAF Security on an enterprise scale.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Web Protocols and TLS Protocols.
• Confident in delivering consultative security thought leadership.

Preferred Skills:
• Understanding of some, or all, of the following technologies: EDR, IPS, AV, Firewalls, vulnerability management, RASP.
• Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCSP, CISSP, GCSA and CISM.
• Relevant certifications/training in Cloud Security Engineering for AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experienced in securing and/or modernising legacy environments.
