Requirements

• 8-12 years of total experience; 5+ years in AWS and DevOps

• Strong hands-on expertise in AWS: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, Route53, ALB/NLB

• Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, EventBridge

• Hands-on with ECS, EKS (Kubernetes), ECR, Docker

• Strong expertise in Terraform (mandatory), CloudFormation or AWS CDK

• Experience in CI/CD tools: Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI

• Proficiency in scripting: Python, Bash, or PowerShell

• Experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools

• Experience with RDS (PostgreSQL), DynamoDB, DocumentDB, ElastiCache (Redis), QLDB

• Strong understanding of AWS networking, VPC, NACLs, Transit Gateway

• Monitoring tools: OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch

• Strong knowledge of IAM, encryption (KMS), secrets management, SOC2, PCI-DSS

• Experience in performance tuning, auto-scaling, load balancing, caching

• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills

• Currently working at a product-based organisation

Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable, secure, cost-optimized AWS infrastructure

• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automation tools

• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment

• Manage containerized workloads using Docker, ECS, and EKS

• Design and deploy serverless and event-driven architectures

• Implement monitoring, observability, and SLO-based alerting

• Ensure cloud security, compliance, and governance best practices

• Manage databases and optimize performance and cost

• Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements

• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and drive DevOps culture
