About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Solution Architect to lead architecture across our Data Analytics and AI/GenAI offerings.

You will design and shape a cloud-native, enterprise-grade SaaS environment built on Azure, using technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, modern data lakehouse architecture, and supporting AI components powered by LLMs, RAG, OCR, NLP, and more.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will combine high-level architecture with real implementation, experimentation, and guidance for engineering teams. You will be part of our technical leadership group, influencing product direction, platform evolution, and long-term technology strategy.

What You Will Do

Architecture & Design

Design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native platforms
Create architectures with self-healing and highly available capabilities
Model systems and define technical documentation and specifications

Technical Leadership

Guide engineering teams through best practices, design decisions, and innovation
Present architectural roadmaps to product and business stakeholders
Mentor engineers and drive strong engineering standards

Hands-on Engineering

Contribute to development, troubleshooting, and platform evolution
Lead PoCs exploring emerging technologies (AI/ML, data engineering, cloud services)
Support implementation with practical expertise in cloud, code, and infrastructure

Strategic Impact

Shape the long-term architecture vision for Data & AI platforms
Identify future opportunities in cloud, data, AI, and automation

About You

We don’t expect perfection — but we’re looking for someone who brings strong architectural thinking, a hands-on mindset, and the curiosity to push technical boundaries.

You have strong experience with:

Cloud Architecture: Enterprise-grade Azure solutions (AKS, networking, CDN, WAF, etc.)
SaaS Platforms: Multi-tenant, high-availability systems
System Design: Java/Spring MVC and distributed systems
Security: Zero Trust principles, authentication & network security
Integrations: REST, SOAP, event-driven patterns
DevSecOps: CI/CD, IaC, cloud automation, resilient infrastructure
Architecture Modelling: Technical specs, design documentation
Team Leadership: Coaching multicultural engineering teams

Bonus points for:

Experience with quality and vulnerability tools (SonarQube, Invicti, Aqua)
Additional non-Java programming background (Python, .NET, ideally Go)
Maven and/or Gradle experience
For Spain the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 60.000] and [EUR100.000] (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
