The Team – your impact

The chapter Technology & Engineering - Platform Engineering represents all experts who deliver DevOps capabilities to all our product teams. These experts are organized together to enhance those functional skillsets, improve E.ON’s DevOps tech stack and deliver a high level of cloud automation.

E.ON delivers an internal Security solution using a Micro-Segmentation focused architecture. The solution provides a security solution for Intra Application traffic. The current Product team delivers a solution based on an existing SaaS provided solution. E.ON’s security solution going forward is to deliver this solution via a DevOps approach.

Your Role – meaningful & rewarding

Designing and implementing our microsegmentation solution using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and high-level languages like Python and Go
Continuously improving the product by monitoring performance, optimizing cost and incorporating feedback from stakeholders
Implement best practices for cloud security, data protection, and compliance, including IAM roles and policies, encryption and auditing
Permanently analyze and test new and innovative technologies that improve the team's capabilities to fullfill it's mission
Secure cloud native design, Kubernetes and crossplane experience

Your Profile – authentic & open-minded

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Experience working in an agile, distributed, multi-national team
Understanding of Networking and Security technologies
Deep understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)
Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
