We are looking for a motivated and solution-oriented team player (f/m/d) with a feeling for individual customer requirements and a strong hands-on mentality. As a Senior Cloud Consultant - Data & AI Engineer, you take technical ownership for AWS cloud-based Data, ML & AI solutions and you will help shape Auvaria's growing Data & AI practice.

Architecture & Delivery• Design scalable AWS architectures for data platforms and ML workloads as well as GenAI solutions
• Lead the implementation and operation of data pipelines, MLOps setups and GenAI solutions
• Ensure security, performance and reliability in production environments

Data, MLOps & GenAI• Build and operate end-to-end ML workflows
• Deploy and maintain ML models using AWS SageMaker
• Implement Generative AI use cases using AWS Bedrock
• Guide customers on how to use GenAI pragmatically and responsibly

Consulting & Pre-Sales• Act as a trusted technical advisor for customers
• Support pre-sales activities and technical workshops
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value
• Knowledge Sharing
• Mentor junior colleagues
• Contribute to internal standards, best practices and trainings

Your profile::
Must-haves
• 4+ years of experience in cloud, data or ML engineering
• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS
• Solid experience in data engineering and ETL architectures
• Practical MLOps experience (model deployment, monitoring, lifecycle)
• Very good Python skills
• Proven experience with IaC (Terraform or comparable)
• Fluent in German and English
• Consulting or customer-facing project experience

Nice-to-haves• AWS certifications
• Experience with Generative AI projects
• Experience in pre-sales or technical leadership roles
