We’re currently seeking a passionate freelance Senior Cloud Backend Engineer to join our projects ASAP. As a freelancer cooperating with intent, you'll have the opportunity to work on diverse IoT projects, leveraging your expertise in backend and cloud technologies.

About intent

intent has over 15+ years of experience in conceptualizing, designing, and building apps for IoT and connected devices. We act as a specialized think partner for products at the intersection of physical and digital (such as wearables and IoT), working with companies like Oura, BOSE, and McIntosh audio systems.

Salary:

• 20-30K PLN net on a B2B contract (depending on experience).

• Flexible working hours with core hours between 10:00 and 18:00 CET, with some client meetings scheduled up to 20:00 CET (approx. 2 per week).

What You’ll Do:

• Own our backend API app, serverless lambdas and data architecture.

• Design and build APIs (REST, GraphQL, WebSockets).

• Work on ETL pipelines- ingest, transform, store.

• Contribute to AWS infrastructure and automation.

• Implement authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth2, Cognito, IAM).

• Maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).

• Build automated tests and ensure high reliability.

Recruitment Process:

• Screening call with HR (45 mins).

• Technical interview (60-90 mins).

• Final feedback within a week after the interview.
