Job Description

Rackspace are currently seeking to hire a talented and highly skilled Senior Cloud Automation Engineer to build and operate Airflow DAGs and Python connectors to automate private cloud resource provisioning/lifecycle exposed through the CMP

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop Python operators/hooks for cloud/service-catalog APIs.
• Design reliable DAGs with idempotency, retries, compensations, and SLAs.
• Package/deploy on K8s; monitor runs; collaborate with Backend & DevOps.

Required Skills:
• Python, Airflow, REST/GraphQL integration; K8s fundamentals and secrets.
• DevSecOps integration (SAST/DAST), logging/metrics/tracing of workflows.
• Private cloud APIs (IaaS/PaaS/DBaaS), multi-tenant/shared services automation.
• PostgreSQL/MS SQL provisioning, access/roles, schema operations.

Technical Skills:
• Python, Airflow, Kubernetes, Helm, GitLab CI, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK, Vault, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server
