Minimum Requirements

12+ years of experience in software engineering and/or software architecture

Experience with Azure Services

Experience building application with .NET Core

Critical Skills

• Deep understanding of different Virtualization platforms based on commercial and open source technologies (5+ years)
• Expertise in developing complex cloud-based product/services using Azure, AWS or other cloud technologies (2+ years)
• Direct experience migrating applications from the enterprise to public cloud providers (Amazon, Google, Microsoft) (2+years)
• Experience helping development teams build and deploy microservices based applications in public cloud (2+ years)
• Experience with Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment tools and processes (2+ years)
• Experience with Cloud Application Development Platforms (Azure PaaS)
• Experience with complex API integration between private and public cloud environments
• Experience with multiple cloud automation/cloud management platforms

Additional Knowledge & Skills

• Customer Focused and Collaboration – build strong relationships across all key business stakeholders specifically Enterprise Architecture and with Solution Management team. Ensure solid understanding of business objectives and product roadmaps. Collaboratively develop appropriate Architectural standards and roadmaps to support business outcomes. Works closely with technology industry leaders to derive the most innovative and effective technologies for the enterprise.
• Technical thought leadership and innovation – brings thought leadership and strong point of view with a focus on continually improving service value (agility/cost/quality). Looks for opportunities to enhance business value through IT innovation.
• Technical expertise – solid understanding of Cloud technologies, architecture and major service providers.
• Business understanding - ability to assess current and future business requirements and leverage existing standards or develop new standards where appropriate.

• Solid senior level .NET Architect with hands on experience
• Experience developing and deploying ASP.NET applications (MVC or classic)
• Must have experience with unit testing and integration testing ASP.NET applications
• Preferred experience building and deploying .NET applications with a CI/CD pipeline.
• Must be fluent in C#
• Must have experience building data-driven ASP.NET web applications (MS SQL or NoSQL)
• Preferred experience with ASP.NET Web API, especially regarding scaling and securing RESTful services Experience building scalable Web based Service (REST)
• Knowledge of Micro Service Architecture Pattern
• Knowledge and experience building application event driven architecture pattern
• Experience building scalable, maintainable, and recoverable enterprise application
• Experience with API management solutions and concepts
• Experience with Server less architecture pattern
• Experience with building distributed and multi-tenant applications
• Understanding of cloud application design principles
• Understanding of Agile software delivery principles/methodologies
• Understands software development/architecture trends and new best practices
• Enthusiastic, self-starter with the ability to see and communicate 'the big picture'
• Must be effective in working both independently and in a team setting
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral are required
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, related field or equivalent experience
