PACT (Pearson Accelerator Construction Team) is a General Partnership of Alberici, Amico, Kenaidan, and Obayashi, supported by design partners Egis, Mott MacDonald, and Weston Williamson + Partners. Together, we are delivering Accelerator, a major program of Pearson LIFT (Long-term Investment in Facilities and Terminals), Toronto Pearson's infrastructure development plan. This multi-year program is designed to address immediate passenger growth demands while preparing Canada’s largest airport for the future of air travel—including critical upgrades to airfield and infrastructure, greenhouse gas reduction initiatives, modernization of Terminals 1 and 3, and the creation of a world-class passenger experience.
JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Cloud and Security Administrator is responsible for the administration, security, and operational support of PACT’s Microsoft cloud environment, including Entra ID and Microsoft 365 services. This role supports secure identity and access management, tenant governance, endpoint policy coordination, operational support, and security compliance across the integrated PACT delivery environment. The successful candidate will work closely with Enterprise Applications, Data Engineering, Power Platform, and IT stakeholders to maintain secure, scalable, and supportable solutions across the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Administer and maintain the Entra ID and Microsoft 365 tenant environment to support secure and efficient operations across PACT.
Implement and manage identity and access controls including RBAC, Conditional Access, MFA, privileged access management, and service principals.
Administer Microsoft 365 services including Teams, Exchange, and related collaboration platforms.
Support secure access to Microsoft 365, Power Platform, enterprise applications, and data environments through endpoint and device policy coordination.
Provide L2/L3 support for identity, access, authentication, and tenant-related incidents and service requests.
Execute controlled changes to tenant and security configurations including policy updates, role modifications, and environment onboarding activities.
Maintain operational documentation including runbooks, access procedures, escalation paths, and recovery processes.
Define and enforce security and identity governance standards including MFA baselines, privileged role usage, and service account management practices.
Partner with Enterprise Applications and Data Engineering teams to ensure integrations follow least privilege principles and approved credential management practices.
Support audit readiness activities through access reviews, documentation management, and maintenance of change records.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve security and access-related issues while maintaining consistent governance standards.
Communicate technical concepts, changes, and risks clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The position will be based at our office in Mississauga, Ontario, with visits to the Airport site as required. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday during regular office or site hours. At times, operational needs may require work outside these hours, with reasonable notice provided. All schedule or on-call adjustments will comply with applicable employment standards legislation.
It is mandatory for all employees to complete a Criminal Background check and successfully attain a Restricted Access Identity Card (RAIC) upon joining the company.
DESIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES
Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Strong experience administering Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 environments.
Experience implementing and supporting Conditional Access, MFA, RBAC, privileged access controls, and identity governance.
Experience supporting enterprise cloud environments and Microsoft collaboration technologies.
Understanding of endpoint/device management and secure access controls.
Experience supporting operational incident response, troubleshooting, and change management processes.
Familiarity with security best practices, audit controls, and compliance requirements.
Strong documentation and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work collaboratively across technical teams.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
Experience supporting Power Platform, Power BI, Fabric, or enterprise application integrations is considered an asset.
Valid driver’s license and eligibility for RAIC clearance required.
