OVERVIEW:

Klaviyo is looking for a Technical Analyst or Senior Analyst to join our growing team. This person will be focused on analyzing and curating complex datasets to drive business impact and understanding. They will contribute to forecasting and monitoring key performance metrics. They will also be asked to perform analyses on various aspects of Klaviyo’s business and operations and present findings to key stakeholders within the company.

How you will make an impact:

• This is a cross functional role that requires framing business problems, maintaining data needed for analysis, synthesizing results and making recommendations to the executive team and other leaders in various departments.

• Create analysis frameworks to effectively answer strategic questions.

• Perform hypothesis testing and causal analyses to statistically assess relative impact and extract trends.

• Support the collection and curation of data on company pricing strategy and external data on our customers

Who you are:

• You are quantitative and curious. You enjoy understanding cause and effect in various business situations. You enjoy finding creative technical solutions to hard problems and are structured in your thinking.

• 5+ years of experience in Engineering, data science, statistics, analytics, economics or quantitative background

• PHD preferred

• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases

• Ability to think critically about business operations, market dynamics, and competitive positioning, leveraging both technical and strategic perspectives to solve a problem

• Ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner. Art of telling a story with data.

• Knowledge of statistical packages (e.g. R, Python, Stata, MATLAB, etc.) a plus

• Needs to demonstrate expertise in AI code writers claude code or cursor. Use of skills, agents, agent swarms.

Our salary range reflects the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all our US locations. The base salary offered for this position is determined by several factors, including the applicant’s job-related skills, relevant experience, education or training, and work location.

In addition to base salary, our total compensation package may include participation in the company’s annual cash bonus plan, variable compensation (OTE) for sales and customer success roles, equity, sign-on payments, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility.

Base Pay Range For US Locations:
$116,000—$174,000 USD
