The Role
We are looking for a heavy-hitting Senior Business Development Manager (Hunter) to architect our B2B growth. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role focused on one thing: Expansion. You will own the outbound engine, identifying, pitching, and closing strategic enterprise partnerships with global retailers and brands. You aren't just a salesperson; you are a consultant helping the world’s biggest fashion players navigate the shift to resale.
What You’ll Do
Architect Partnerships: Lead the end-to-end sales cycle for complex, high-value B2B deals (Consignment, Trade-in, and Circularity-as-a-Service).
Conduct Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth.
Target expansion: identify high-value categories, retailers, brands, and partners and convert them into active accounts.
Strategic selling: craft customized partner value propositions and commercial models (consignment, trade-in) that align with partner objectives.
Cross-functional delivery: coordinate with operations, product, marketing, and IT to ensure smooth onboarding, launch, and account success.
Forecasting & CRM: maintain accurate pipeline and forecasts in CRM, report weekly to leadership, and optimize conversion metrics.
Represent Remix: present at partner meetings, industry events, and conferences; act as a persuasive ambassador for our mission.
What You’ll Need
7+ years quota-bearing B2B business development or enterprise sales experience; demonstrable hunter track record (new logos closed, pipeline metrics, quota attainment).
Experience selling to retailers, brands, marketplaces, or fashion/apparel channels strongly preferred.
Strong negotiation and deal-structuring skills; comfortable with complex commercial models (consignment, revenue-share, trade-in).
Expert outbound skills: cold outreach, prospecting cadences, objection handling, and executive selling.
Data-driven: comfortable with CRM, pipeline forecasting, and KPIs.
Strategic Negotiator:building credibility by viewing "no" as the start of a negotiation and "ambiguity" as an opportunity to build something new.
Self-starter, tenacious, comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration; willing to travel as needed.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; MBA a plus.
Nice to Have
Existing network in fashion retail/brand partnerships.
Experience launching B2B programs (trade-in, resale, circular partnerships).
Prior startup/high-growth experience.
