We're looking for a highly motivated full-time (100%) Senior Business Development Manager to cover financial services customers in the German-speaking Swiss market
The Business Development Manager is a vital part of our dynamic sales team. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be responsible for driving business growth in the financial services sector in the German-speaking Swiss market. You’ll leverage your technical expertise and business acumen to identify opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and drive revenue.
You will:
Own the full sales cycle with a focus on new business opportunities – from lead identification and qualification to deal closure, together with our partners.
Develop and manage relationships with our channel partners – from strategic alignment to day-to-day operational coordination.
Identify new sales opportunities within your existing network and further develop existing customer accounts.
Collaborate with our Customer Success team to create compelling proposals and actively support the offer phase.
Work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure smooth execution of customer and partner projects.
Translate our SCION-based solutions into clear, compelling value propositions for partners and end customers.
Serve as the primary point of contact for our customers and partners in Switzerland.
Represent Anapaya at industry events and lead-generation activities in close collaboration with our Marketing team.
Channel customer and market feedback to our Product team to help refine our offering.
Contribute to regional market growth through focused, goal-oriented sales initiatives.
Qualifications:
Strong in active acquisition - you build new customer relationships independently and with focus
Proven experience in solution selling of complex B2B offerings
At least 5 years of sales experience in a technology company
Fluency in German and English is a must, other languages are a plus
Prior experience in or selling to the Swiss financial sector
Based in canton Zurich or surrounding areas and willing to come to our office a few times a week
Solid knowledge in one or more of the following areas: telecommunications/networking, Network as a Service (NaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and/or system integration
Strong customer orientation and excellent communication skills
Passion for introducing and scaling new, disruptive technologies in the market
Proficient with sales and collaboration tools such as HubSpot, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
