The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a Senior Business Consultant to lead the design, delivery, and optimisation of transformative solutions for our customers.

In this role, you’ll be the trusted expert who understands customer needs deeply, translates them into meaningful solution designs, and ensures our technology is implemented in a way that drives measurable value. You’ll guide clients through complex change, influence key decisions, and ensure solutions are simple, scalable, and aligned to best practice.

This role reports to the Consulting Manager and does not include people management responsibilities, but it plays a significant part in guiding quality, design decisions, and project success.

A Day in Your Life:
• Workshop Leadership - Lead confident, outcomes-driven workshops with diverse stakeholders. Drive alignment, clarity, and best practice thinking.
• Requirements & Analysis - Analyse business processes, uncover gaps, define requirements, and ensure alignment with policy, standards, and the Objective product suite. Identify scope impacts early and work closely with the Project Manager.
• Solution Design & Ownership - Own the business design for projects—documenting, validating, and shaping solutions that minimise complexity and technical debt. Review deliverables to ensure quality and consistency.
• Configuration & Prototyping - Configure Objective products to best-practice standards. Prototype solutions with customers to refine requirements and strengthen adoption.
• Testing & Quality - Co-develop testing strategies, support SIT/UAT, triage defects, and ensure solutions perform as intended through to Go Live.
• Data Migration - Design the business architecture of data migrations, map legacy data, guide customers on cleansing actions, and ensure migrated data is usable, secure, and accurate.
• Training & Change Leadership - Deliver advanced product and administration training. Lead change management activities and support Train-the-Trainer programs to embed capability.
• Risk & Governance - Identify business design risks early and develop mitigation strategies. Actively contribute to governance forums to maintain scope, quality, and stability.
• Stakeholder Relationships - Build trust across customer organisations and act as the functional liaison between business users and the project team.
• Customer Outcomes - Deliver contracted outcomes in a way that is simple, scalable, and aligned with project commercials.
• Sales Support - Support sales by shaping proposals, defining scope and effort estimates, and presenting the value of Consulting Services.

Your skills, experience and beyond::
• Senior consulting experience in IT or software implementation environments
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (including Access and advanced Word)
• Strong process and data modelling experience (UML or similar)
• Ability to deliver end-user and system admin training
• Experience with functional, integration, or UAT testing
• Basic SQL proficiency and understanding of XML and cloud architectures (Azure/AWS)
• Data migration experience (advantageous)
• Exceptional workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to analyse complex problems, anticipate risks, and develop balanced solutions
• Strong decision-making capability with sound judgement and ownership
