Your Role

We are seeking an AVP-level Senior Business Analyst/Trailer fee SME to join our Change Management team within the Transfer Agency department in Luxembourg.

In this role, you will act as the Trailer Fee Subject Matter Expert / Senior Business Analyst, supporting Transfer Agency change and client onboarding delivery. You will drive and support change initiatives end-to-end (requirements definition, stakeholder alignment, impact assessment, testing/UAT support, and implementation readiness) across projects initiated by State Street, our clients, and internal programs.

In addition, as an individual contributor, the AVP is recognized as a Subject Matter Expert by providing active support and consultancy to Business Analysts and Project Managers through deep Trailer Fee and Transfer Agency domain expertise.

Your Team

This individual will be part of the Change Management team within the Transfer Agency department. You’ll report directly to the Trailer Fee Portfolio Manager.

Your Responsibilities

- Act as Trailer Fee Subject Matter Expert and lead business analysis activities for change and onboarding projects (requirements, process mapping, impact assessment, testing/UAT and implementation readiness).

- Leverage Trailer Fee tooling and data where applicable; knowledge of Fundline-RP as a Trailer Fee tool is a strong advantage.

- Demonstrate commitment to the State Street Luxembourg Transfer Agency strategic goals;

- Partner with internal teams and State Street locations to achieve best results, also challenging existing situations, negotiating and improving efficiency;

- Assist the team in delivering business and client objectives and understanding trends;

- Communicate well and encourage open and honest feedback from all levels;

- Enable transparency and ensure all appropriate information is cascaded appropriately;

- Provide regular feedback to peers, managers, and senior colleagues;

- Active contributor to operational, client, risk, audit and regulatory meetings;

- Exercise due care and diligence, ensuring activities are organised and controlled;

- Accountable for the delivery of a service, driving for excellence in all work activities;

- Continuously review processes and practices relating to the role and act as a catalyst for change and improvement in individual and team performance.

Your Profile

- Required: 5+ years of Trailer Fee experience within a Project/Onboarding team

- Ability to build and maintain data migration tools and/or leverage State Street migration utilities to support migrations and conversions; Microsoft Access database/VBA knowledge is considered a strong advantage

- Hands-on Transfer Agency operations experience—particularly in trailer fee processing—will be viewed favourably.

- Knowledge on Fundline-RP as a Trailer Fee tool will be considered as a strong advantage

- Graduate with related degree (preferably in Economics, Business, Information technology) and/or demonstrable related background within the financial sector/regulatory environment

- Experience in the mutual fund industry is critical; Transfer Agency experience preferred

- In-depth knowledge of tools and techniques to define, track and report deliverables

- Experience delivering change using Agile ways of working (e.g., iterative delivery, user stories, backlog refinement, sprint planning/reviews, retrospectives) and partnering with business and technology teams through testing and UAT to ensure high-quality outcomes

- Experience with structured change delivery approaches; familiarity with Lean and Agile principles and knowledge of Transfer Agency processes are considered an advantage

- Team player with ability to evidence leadership, credibility, and build consensus (Extensive work experience in a similar role)

- Ability to engage internal stakeholders across different functional departments, high level of confidence interacting with senior business professionals

- Ability to present and communicate effectively and draw meaningful conclusions

- Support the Trailer Fee Portfolio Manager in managing a virtual team, including direct and indirect reports

- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high accuracy and quality standards; strong analytical, process and numeracy skills

- Self-motivated, organised in order to meet tight deadlines and flexible to new ideas

- Strong issue resolution skills with a focus on risk controls and client focus

- Fluent in English (written & oral) - additional languages (e.g. French, German) are considered as an advantage
