The Opportunity
Catalyst is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to support our team in analyzing business processes and helping identify technology solutions that meet our clients’ needs. In this role, the ideal candidate will provide sales and implementation support on client projects, ensure client and vendor alignment on SOW, and implement client feedback while supporting team efforts to create high quality deliverables.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and oversight on client engagements and technical implementation projects , including oversight of a team of one or more Business Analysts.
Provide oversight on client discovery and requirements gathering, including leading sessions as needed.
Demonstrate business expertise and serve as subject matter expert on the client’s business need for the internal team.
Create current state and future state process flows using information from client documentation and discovery sessions.
Create requirement documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria on large projects.
Translate Business Requirements into Functional Requirements for implementation by the internal project team.
Assess requested business requirements for SOW alignment.
Create and track work for team members using ticket assignments and ensure project progress aligns with Catalyst’s expectations.
Confirm functionality meets business needs based on acceptance criteria.
Write client-deliverable test scripts and test scenarios.
Perform end-to-end testing, assessing success from a business perspective.
Prepare and participate in functionality demonstrations, leading demonstrations for client testers as needed.
Document, prioritize, and assess client feedback working with the PM to determine impacts to scope, budget, and project timelines.
Plan training needs and support the creation of training documentation.
Lead training sessions for trainers, super users, or end users.
Potential to serve as owner of one of the Catalyst productized offerings.
What you’ll need to be successful:
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field.
8+ years of experience in business analysis, business strategy, systems analysis, or related roles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to guide and support junior staff members.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with Agile methodology is a plus.
Basic understanding of software development processes.
Previous experience or internship in a consulting or agency environment.

Salary range of $120,000-$150,000*
