For our customer based in Warsaw, Poland - a European Institution, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst based in Poland to join a long-term mission in the area of cybersecurity, public sector and law enforcement.
For the needs of the client, you need be based in the area of Warsaw (~2 hours by ground transportation), and you will have the flexibility to work on hybrid mode (up to 5 times a month in the office).
More specifically, you will be responsible for…
• Delivering models and documents value chain/streams, business processes, roles, capabilities, and data.
• Eliciting and analysing business needs, requirements, and user stories,
• Supporting business experts and product owners during the definition of requirements and software development
• Maintaining and tracking requirements/user stories in systems lifecycle
• Transferring business, users, and technical needs into business requirements specification,
• Mapping business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, system features
• Analysing available systems
• Supporting the identification of options for potential solutions
• Supporting the preparation of business cases and feasibility studies
• Contributing to systems design, testing, quality assurance, change management.
• Designing, validating, and testing business processes for achieving business process excellence
• Taking a holistic approach in planning and managing programmes for continuous improvements of business processes
• Coaching Institution staff on upcoming changes, ensuring that a plan is in place to teach new skills and/or process changes
• Collaborating with owners of end-to-end processes to continually seek out process improvements
• Identifying opportunities for business process improvement leading to improved customer service, lower costs, or higher revenue (effectiveness and efficiency gains)
• Communicating project objectives, business case, requirements, and scope to all stakeholders, in order to better provide rapid responses to business needs
• Quantitatively analysing business processes, performing cost-benefit and what-if analysis
• Planning organizational changes process
• Implementing performance monitoring systems for business processes
• Supporting business users in developing strategic and tactical plans (e.g. sector strategies, implementation plans etc.)
• Supporting the definition of transition roadmaps for business architectures
