Estimated Base Annual Salary: $140,000–$165,000 (commensurate with experience)

Role Overview
Knox Systems is seeking an experienced, strategic, and hands-on Senior Brand Designer to lead and execute all aspects of the company’s creative, brand, and content presence. This role owns the visual and editorial identity of Knox across digital platforms, campaigns, and communications—ensuring consistency, clarity, and credibility in a highly regulated, government-facing market.
The Senior Brand Designer will manage the Knox website and all website content, oversee creative development across channels, guide brand standards, and partner closely with marketing, sales, leadership, and external vendors to translate complex technical offerings into compelling, accessible storytelling. This role blends creative vision with executional excellence and requires a deep understanding of brand-building in B2B and federal technology environments.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Creative Leadership
• Own the Knox brand identity, ensuring consistent visual and editorial standards across all touchpoints.
• Update and maintain brand guidelines covering design, tone, messaging, and usage across internal and external materials.
• Ensure creative work reflects Knox’s credibility, security-first posture, and leadership in the federal cloud ecosystem.
Website & Digital Experience Management
• Own the Knox website management including design and content.
• Manage website updates, landing pages, blog posts, announcements, and product content.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure website content supports demand generation, customer education, and sales enablement.
• Work with developers, designers, and vendors to maintain site health, accessibility, and usability.
Content Strategy & Editorial Oversight
• Direct the creation of blog posts, case studies, white papers, event content, and executive communications.
• Work with the Vice President of Compliance to ensure content is accurate, compliant, and aligned with federal and regulatory audiences.
• Establish editorial calendars, workflows, and review processes.
Creative Production & Campaign Support
• Direct creative development for marketing campaigns, events, sales materials, presentations, and digital assets.
• Produce high quality design assets across the organization.
• Manage designers, freelancers, agencies, and production partners as needed.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality creative assets that meet business and campaign objectives.
• Collaborate with demand generation and events teams to support integrated marketing efforts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner closely with marketing, sales, business development, and leadership to translate strategy into creative execution.
• Support executive communications and leadership visibility through polished, on-brand materials.
• Provide creative guidance to internal teams while balancing strategic direction with hands-on contribution.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
• 6+ years of experience in creative direction, brand management, or senior design/content roles.
• Expert program proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, Google Slides, Figma,and Webflow
• Understanding and familiarity with Canva and AfterEffects
• Experience with print production and working with vendors to produce event graphics, or other physical touchpoints.
• Proven experience managing and evolving a company website and digital content ecosystem.
• Strong background in B2B, enterprise technology, cybersecurity, cloud, or government-facing industries.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling creative narratives.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in or marketing to the federal government or regulated industries.
• Familiarity with government agencies, cybersecurity, or cloud infrastructure environments.
• Experience managing agencies, freelancers, and cross-functional creative workflows.
• Working knowledge of CMS platforms, design systems, and modern digital marketing tools.
