Senior Blade Project Manager

A Snapshot of Your Day

Join us as a Senior Blade Project Manager, where you will lead impactful projects within the Blade Module Management department. You will drive the development of technical solutions that enhance Siemens Gamesa’s competitive position in the marketplace. Collaborating closely with technical experts and line management, you will ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Your role will involve coordinating with various technology departments, production, procurement, and external partners, all while fostering an international working environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

You will have full project responsibility in terms of time, cost, and quality delivered.
Lead project teams in close cooperation with engineers, solution owners, and Chief Engineers.
Execute projects in accordance with Siemens Gamesa Technology processes and tools.
Coordinate with various technology departments, production, procurement, and external suppliers and partners.

What You Bring

A passion for renewable energy and a strong sense of leadership in driving change.
A Master’s degree in mechanical or aeronautical engineering or a similar technical field, along with relevant project management experience.
Proven track record in project management and leadership, with formal project management training as a plus.
Experience working in an intercultural environment, demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills.
Excellent English proficiency, both orally and in writing, to effectively communicate results.

About the Team

As a Senior Blade Project Manager, you will lead projects from start to finish, overseeing a multidisciplinary team of approximately 7 members. While you will not directly manage personnel, you will functionally lead the team, guiding between 4 to 6 individuals depending on the project type. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the development of timely technical solutions that enhance our competitive edge in the wind energy market.
