Senior BIM Modeler- Mechanical

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior BIM Modeler specialising in mechanical systems to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing detailed 3D models of mechanical systems using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.

• Develop and maintain complex 3D BIM models for mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure proper coordination and integration of mechanical systems with other building components
• Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between mechanical and other building systems
• Create detailed shop drawings and construction documents from BIM models
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and project specifications
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise on BIM-related issues
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM processes
• Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and best practices in mechanical engineering

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in BIM modeling for mechanical systems
• Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Revit MEP and Navisworks
• Strong 3D modeling and visualization skills
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and HVAC design
• Familiarity with industry standards and building codes
• BIM certification, such as Autodesk Certified Professional, is preferred
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles
• Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines
