Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior BI Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, Tableau, and data engineering principles, with the ability to translate complex analytical requirements into intuitive and impactful dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports with a strong focus on usability, performance, and data accuracy
• Build and optimize Tableau dashboards for advanced data visualization and business insights
• Translate business and analytical requirements into efficient semantic data models, DAX, and SQL logic
• Implement and manage Row-Level Security (RLS), data governance, and access control mechanisms
• Automate data refresh processes and ensure reliability of reporting pipelines
• Apply version control practices and adhere to chapter standards for BI development
• Ensure all dashboards follow design system standards and accessibility guidelines
• Collaborate with data engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end BI solutions
• Optimize report performance and troubleshoot data or visualization issues

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence / Data Analytics
• Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI (DAX, Data Modeling, Performance Tuning)
• Experience with Tableau development
• Proficiency in SQL and data transformation techniques
• Experience with SSRS reporting
• Solid understanding of data engineering concepts and ETL workflows
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema)
• Experience implementing RLS and data security best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Good to Have

• Experience working in banking or financial services domain
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for BI deployments
• Experience with Python or scripting for data automation
