Role summary

We’re looking for a Senior BI Developer who is a tech-enthusiast with a drive for excellence, and an out-of-the-box mindset to satisfy business needs in a complex payment solution environment.

Location - Gurugram (Work from Office)

What You'll Do:

Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end BI and analytics solutions in the Google Cloud environment, primarily using BigQuery, dbt, and Looker, across the full lifecycle: data transformation, modeling, testing, and production deployment.

Translate business requirements into technical specifications, including defining data models, establishing relationships between data entities, and incorporating business logic into the analytical layer.

Lead complex BI initiatives end-to-end, including breaking down work into manageable tasks, driving execution, and collaborating closely with other developers and stakeholders.

Provide ongoing BI support to the Finance department, including preparation of monthly reports, ad hoc analyses, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Develop and maintain data pipelines to support BI solutions.

What We're Looking For:

6+ years of experience as a Senior BI Developer, with expert-level proficiency in SQL.

Hands-on experience with Looker and dbt – mandatory!

A proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Proven ability to translate complex BI requirements into manageable technical tasks, spanning the process from data sourcing to final report.

Strong experience designing and building data pipelines / ELT workflows, ideally in modern cloud data environments.

Proven ability to independently lead complex technical tasks, collaborate with other developers, and drive delivery from data sources and transformation through semantic modeling and final reporting.

An open-minded, inquisitive, and enthusiastic learner with a readiness to embrace modern technologies and adapt to new challenges.

Advanced analytical capabilities, effective multitasking skills, and a strong aptitude for creative problem-solving.

Not necessary but a great advantage

Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Experience with AI tools.

Proficiency in data modeling techniques.

Knowledge and understanding of the payments industry.

Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering/information systems or equivalent.
