YOUR ROLE

The SAP Fioneer Banking Functional Consultant will play a leading role in the SAP functional team within the Banking Business Unit. Many of our customers are installing or upgrading to the latest version of our software platform. There is a large demand for people who can help us work with our clients in converting their software to the latest version of the platform and at the same time identify and realise value adding business opportunities together with our clients.

You will be responsible for both sales and delivery of SAP Fioneer banking related projects. This includes sales and pre-sales activities of opportunity identification, pre-sales presentation and proposal writing and submission. You will be responsible for the quality of client interaction including thought leadership and guidance on industry best practice, while also playing a key role in the delivery and implementation of the required technical solution. You will follow project standards within established timeframes and at defined quality levels, and ensure projects are completed according to schedule and client specifications. This position is client-facing and requires travel to the client site as the project warrants.

You will work as a trusted technical advisor to our banking clients on their transformation journeys. On this path, you get the chance to play high visibility roles with hands-on experience with Fioneer banking product portfolio.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIVERABLES

You will provide the following technical advisory roles and services as part of SAP Fioneer Banking implementations:

• Work closely with bank's Solution Architects, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters in defining the scope of work to be delivered
• Providing SAP Fioneer Banking technical expertise to internal and external stakeholders
• Providing thought leadership on platform conversion options and methods towards the latest releases of our software (TRBK on S/4 Hana)
• Providing thought leadership on legacy system migration to SAP Banking platform
• Participate in development and implementation of the SAP Fioneer team strategy.
• Training and mentorship of junior resources.
• Maintain, enhance, and broaden knowledge and skills of SAP Fioneer Banking applications, industry technology best practices and developments.
• Interact with clients to provide them insights and possibilities within the Technology domain to help shape and craft their transformation journeys, with specific focus on the SAP Fioneer technical capabilities and integration patterns
• Use subject matter knowledge to advise the client on the most suitable options, including when to make use of standard capabilities or when customisation is required
• Functional knowledge in some of SAP Banking Modules like Deposit Management / Loans Management / Master Contract management is mandatory.
• Consulting knowledge and experience in evaluating customer requirements, and propose Solution / Architecture approaches.
• Proficiency in ABAP Technologies - ABAP Workbench, ABAP Data Dictionary, Report Programming, Data Migration, Screen Programming, SmartForms, Adobe forms, Authorizations, ALE/IDOC, Workflow, Web Dynpro ABAP, OO ABAP, Enhancements & Modifications.
• Recording of requirements from the specialist department, e.g. via workshops or coordination meetings, and creation of solution concepts as a basis for the implementation of software
• Create the necessary design and build artefacts
• Provide SAP Fioneer Design Authority for the approved scope of work
• Produce SAP Fioneer Technical architecture and design documents
• Produce SAP Fioneer Software configuration design documents
• Produce SAP Fioneer Software integration and interface design documentation
• Collaborate in integrating SAP Fioneer solutions into channels and downstream systems

Requirements:
• Bachelor or master’s degree in finance, computer science, technology, or engineering
• 10+ years of consulting experience in at least 3 of the SAP Core banking domains like Deposits, Loans, Master Contracts, Collateral Management & Payments
• Solid technology architecture knowledge and understanding, ideally in software or cloud solutions
• Proven industry relevant track record of in-depth knowledge of SAP Fioneer technical platform capabilities and functional capabilities, implementations, associated standards, practices and regulations
• Client facing service experience required. Engagement across stakeholders and ability to run information gathering and sharing sessions

SKILLS

• Solid SAP Fioneer Banking Technical project experience, including implementation, platform upgrade, legacy migrations and data migration
• A working knowledge of domestic and international banking domains
• Solid Business Writing Skills (business cases, proposals)
