What we are looking for:

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer at Dynamic, you’ll play a key role in building scalable, secure infrastructure for authentication, identity, and wallet-based applications. You’ll be responsible for designing and maintaining core APIs, implementing secure systems, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product reliability and performance.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to make a meaningful impact across fintech and Web3. You’ll work with technologies like Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript, and help define the architecture that enables wallets for millions of users.

The anticipated U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000–$200,000 for candidates located in the NY/Bay Area. In addition to base compensation, we offer a comprehensive total rewards package that includes equity and a competitive benefits program.

Actual base salary will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, required skills and experience, and your geographic location. Salary ranges are reviewed annually and may be adjusted based on market trends and internal equity. Offers are made within the applicable range at the time of hiring.

You will be a fantastic fit for this role if:

• You have 5 to 7 years of backend engineering experience, with a strong focus on systems design, authentication, and security

• You’re highly proficient in Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript

• You’ve designed and scaled production APIs, especially for identity, authentication, or payments-related systems

• You’re well-versed in encryption, key management, access control, and secure handling of sensitive data

• You’ve worked with authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT, etc.) and understand cryptographic principles

• You care deeply about quality, performance, and maintainability—and hold a high bar for production code

• You thrive in cross-functional environments and enjoy collaborating closely with product and design teams

• You’re excited about Web3 and fintech, and want to work on infrastructure used by millions of users‍

Nice to Haves:

• 2 to 3 years of experience building in the Web3 space for a notable Web3 company

• You are located close to NYC, SF, Chicago, or Floripa (Brazil)

You will:

• Design and implement scalable backend systems and APIs to power authentication and wallet infrastructure

• Build secure systems that adhere to best practices in encryption, key management, and access control

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop solutions that serve millions of users

• Improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, and performance across environments

• Contribute to architecture decisions and long-term backend strategy
