We are seeking a talented and passionate Senior Backend Engineer to join our ERP team.
 As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance APIs and distributed systems to support our ERP team. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and frontend developers to build reliable and scalable services that power our global operations.

What you'll do: :
You will design, build, and scale backend services in Go and Typescript to support Emma’s global fulfillment and logistics operations, helping us become the world’s leading sleep brand.  You will develop and maintain robust, secure, and high-performance REST APIs that integrate with various internal systems and third-party providers. You will work with event-driven architectures using AWS services such as SNS, SQS, ensuring smooth communication across distributed systems. You will take ownership of backend components end-to-end—from development and testing to deployment and monitoring (full DevOps). You will ensure high code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and continuous delivery pipelines. You will be part of an agile, empowered team, actively sharing knowledge, mentoring team members, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. You will contribute to recruiting efforts to help us grow our high-performing tech team.

Who we're looking for: :
You have a strong track record of designing and delivering scalable and performant backend systems in a cloud environment, preferably with Go (Golang) & Typescript. You are experienced in building event-driven architectures using AWS SNS/SQS, and are familiar with modern cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes). You have solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices, and systems integration patterns. You bring deep knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and software design patterns. You have several years of proven experience in backend software development, ideally in a fast-paced E-commerce or logistics-focused environment. You are familiar with CI/CD pipelines and take pride in writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. You are highly self-organized, with a strong sense of ownership and proactive problem-solving mindset. You are a team player with strong communication skills, and thrive in a collaborative, feedback-driven environment. Experience working with monitoring tools and implementing observability best practices is a plus. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is required.
