Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend development using Python

• Strong experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django

• Hands-on experience with REST API design and development

• Strong knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL

• Experience with ORMs such as SQLAlchemy and database migrations

• Good understanding of asynchronous programming in Python

• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda

• Familiarity with microservices and distributed systems

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker

• Experience with caching systems like Redis or Memcached

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Currently employed at a product based organisation

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend systems

• Develop and maintain APIs using modern Python frameworks

• Design and optimize database schemas and queries

• Build and maintain distributed systems and backend services

• Work with caching and data storage solutions to improve performance

• Deploy and manage backend services on AWS

• Own backend deployments and support CI/CD pipelines

• Debug production issues and ensure minimal downtime
