About the Role

We’re looking for a senior backend engineer who can bridge data infrastructure, backend systems, and AI operations. This role will be pivotal in building and scaling the systems that power our community businesses. You’ll work closely with product and community growth teams to automate core workflows, deploy AI agents, and maintain clean, reliable data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure using tools like dbt and Snowflake.
• Build and deploy AI agents and other micro-services/tools that support operational and community use cases.
• Own our backend architecture, with an emphasis on scalability, automation, and velocity.
• Integrate third-party platforms (CRM, ESP, forms, etc.) and unify customer data across systems.
• Support internal tools and workflows to help the team move faster with fewer resources.

Requirements:
You Might Be a Fit If You

• Have deep experience with modern data stacks (e.g., dbt, Snowflake, Postgres, javascript and Python).
• Are comfortable working in AI-native environments, rapidly deploying tools like GPT, or custom agents.
• Have used tools like Cursor or Replit to ship product faster.
• Enjoy working cross-functionally with product, growth, and ops teams.
• Thrive in ambiguity and enjoy owning problems end-to-end.
• Are excited by the idea of working at the intersection of community, AI, and systems design.
