We are looking for

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with the mindset of a true engineer, not just a developer. In this role, you will solve complex business problems by architecting end-to-end technical solutions with a high degree of ownership and autonomy. This is a high-impact position with a hybrid focus on Platform Engineering, Data Engineering, and Backend Logic. Using Python as the core language, you will build scalable, production-grade systems designed for reliability and growth.

Responsibilities:
• Architect & Build: Design and build robust backend applications and core business logic.
• Pipeline Orchestration: Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD and high-throughput data pipelines.
• Automation: Develop internal tools and automations with Streamlit.
• Infrastructure as Code: Own infrastructure integration, ensuring alignment between platform and backend.
• Autonomous Problem Solving: Translate high-level business needs into scalable technical solutions autonomously.

Requirements:
• Python: 5+ years of experience in backend development
• Data Engineering: 3+ years building and maintaining complex data pipelines
• DevOps: 3+ years working with CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure
• Backend Web Development: 5+ years architecting scalable web applications and backend systems

Nice to Have:
• Streamlit: Experience building internal tools, dashboards, or data-driven automations
• Healthcare Tech: Experience in regulated environments is a strong plus
• Agentic Systems: Familiarity with production-grade AI agents or autonomous workflows

Soft Skills:
• Autonomy: Able to translate ambiguous problems into clear technical solutions
• Consultative Thinking: Comfortable engaging with stakeholders and challenging requirements when needed, proposing better technical alternatives
• Proactive Ownership: Identifies risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities early, preventing critical issues
• Engineering Rigor: Upholds high standards for reliability, security, and scalability in building enterprise-grade production systems.
