Senior Backend Developer

We are looking for an ambitious Senior Backend Developer to join our growing team. We expect our Developers to have strong technical skills, curiosity, and the ability to take initiative.

In this role, you will:

Develop and maintain backend logic and server APIs used by our frontend applications

Work with a modern tech stack including event-driven architecture (Apache Kafka) and reactive programming (Spring WebFlux)
Build reusable code and common libraries for future use

Collaborate closely with the backend team to continuously improve quality and performance

Participate in and contribute to technical discussions and solution design

You will be successful in this role if you:

Have strong experience with Java 17+, Spring, SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes

Have previous experience working with databases and deployment procedures

Have a solid understanding of web application security (OWASP, OAuth2)

Have a good grasp of how technologies fit together in a larger ecosystem

Have hands-on experience in production environments serving real users

Can work independently on well-defined tasks and suggest technical improvements

Have strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Have fluent written and spoken English

It’s a plus if you also have:

Experience integrating with third-party providers such as payment or game providers

Experience working with AWS or GCP services
