We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer – Java (x|f|m) for our Digital Customer Experience department. Are you a passionate Java backend developer who wants to make a difference? Then become part of our team and play a key role in the further development of our My Sartorius customer portal.
Grow with us – Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for feature development, which means you will be responsible for designing and implementing valuable features for the My Sartorius customer portal
In close cooperation with front-end developers and a tech lead, you will ensure a smooth integration
You will write efficient, reusable and reliable Java code for our My Sartorius customer portal
You will ensure high quality standards in coding and documentation
§ou will take over E2E responsibility in a DevOps environment
§ou will take over technical ownership of specific capabilities within the My Sartorius customer portal
You will support junior developers by sharing your knowledge
What will convince us
Minimum of 5 years of experience from a comparable role, complemented by in-depth Java programming experience and solid experience with the Spring Boot framework
We require experience in agile software development and agile methods
You have practical experience with Docker and Microsoft Azure Cloud- Experience in the development of REST APIs as well as with micro-services and distributed systems
Experience with continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform is desirable
You are characterized by excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex content in an understandable way
Your profile is rounded off by fluency in English
Experience in the development and support of 24/7 portals is an advantage
