Who Are We Looking For?

Mobiz is looking for a Senior Backend Developer who can design, build, and scale reliable backend systems that power modern, AI-driven applications. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in Python, modern web frameworks such as FastAPI and Django, and is eager to contribute to GenAI and LLM-based projects using cloud and AI platforms.

You will work closely with front-end engineers, data scientists, and AI teams as well as collaborate with global clients and cross-regional stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performance backend services.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python, FastAPI, and Django.

Build secure, well-documented RESTful APIs for application and data access.

Integrate backend services with cloud platforms and AI/ML services, including GenAI and LLM-based solutions.

Collaborate with front-end developers and data teams and interact with global clients where required to ensure seamless system integration.

Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.

Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

Work across the full application lifecycle, from development to deployment.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues to ensure stability and uptime.

Stay up to date with emerging backend, cloud, and AI technologies.

Leverage AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools) to improve development efficiency, code quality, and delivery speed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

3–6 years of hands-on backend development experience using Python.

Fluency in English is mandatory.

Exposure to working with international/global clients in a professional environment.

Required Skills

Strong understanding of backend and web concepts (REST APIs, HTTP methods).

Proficiency in FastAPI or Django (experience with both is a plus).

Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).

Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS is a plus).

Exposure to GenAI, LLMs, or AI-enabled backend integrations.

Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools or coding agents such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar.

Experience with containerization tools such as Docker.

Knowledge of backend security best practices.

Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with global teams and clients.
